Exminster Breakfast Club is now up and running. The club runs from 7:40 until 8:40. The club is run by Miss C Madge who is supported by Miss Z Langdon. For more information please ask at the school office.

ART HUB OPENS IN DAWLISH

 

Dawlish-based artist Lauren Ballard is starting up new regular art workshops in Dawlish for families (children up to age 10 with parent/carer), and for young people (11-16).  Supported by The Helen Foundation and the Make It Happen Fund through the T.R.A.I.L organisation.

 

Lauren will be offering creative workshops in a wide range of art making techniques and skills with a local and global focus..

The first 2 workshops are Willow Lantern making with the opportunity to be part of an evening procession during the Dawlish Christmas Market on December 13th.

 

There are two sessions before Christmas on Sunday 29th November and Saturday 12th December at The Manor House, Dawlish

 

Starting at 10.30 am – 1pm Families session

2pm – 4.30 pm for young people (11-16)

The cost for each two and half hour session per person will be £5 with discount for larger families. Concessions arranged for those in receipt of Income Support.  

 

Lauren is well known in the area through working as a DAISI (Devon Arts In Schools Initiative) artist, and leading workshops for T.R.A.I.L. and at family festival events throughout the S.W. She says “This is a great opportunity for everyone to be creative and share some festive spirit with the whole community.”
