Exminster School Association
Who are we?
The Association is comprised of parents and teachers whose prime aim is to raise funds for the benefit of the children at the school.
Being part of the association can be very enjoyable way to meet other parents, and teachers in an informal atmosphere. If you are interested in joining the association or would like an informal chat about what is involved, please contact one of the committee members listed below.
Projects Achieved with funds raised by the Association include:
Lighting in the hall, Multi-sensory garden,
May pole, with book &CD, Story telling throne,
Supplementary PE equipment, Outdoor shelter,
School sports jackets, Tag rugby & Football kit,
Television and videos, Art and craft equipment,
Contribution to redevelopment of front of school play area,
Provision of cake and refreshments for 150 years celebrations,
- Development of school pond area,
- Mobile microphone for wake up shake up, items from Class wish lists (cake stall profits).
- Signed and printed T-shirts for year 6 leavers,
- Over £2000 on books for key stages 1 and 2,
- Overhead projectors, screens and storage trolleys,
- Mobile whiteboards for each class,
- Individual whiteboards for every child,
- Blinds and curtains for various classrooms,
- 3 computers and 2 piano keyboards,
- Friendship benches.
Fund Raising Activities in the past have included:
Art Exhibition, Summer Fair, Carnival, Circus, School Discos, Cinema Afternoons, Christmas Draw, Class Cake Stalls, Tuck Shops,
Race Nights, Slave Auctions, Sponsorship, School Uniform Shop.
